We are in the climate and biodiversity crisis. What can you do? Get involved with your local climate group, Midwest Carbon Zero.

Local grass roots climate groups are making an impact globally. It’s extremely good for your mental health to connect with those who care and we are many.

Formed in 2019, we have had a significant impact. We successfully advocated the City Of Greater Geraldton to declare a climate emergency and set strong climate targets. We organised Geraldton’s first sustainability expo. We have lodged submissions and participated in action against Mid West fossil fuel projects.

As a volunteer run organisation, we need you!

And as such we welcome new general membership applications. Membership is free.

The process is as follows:

1. Submit the membership form below.
2. We will send a confirmation email which you will need to reply to confirming your membership application.
3. Your membership application will be tabled at our next committee meeting.
4. We will email you once your membership application is approved.
